Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Santa Clara County Inmate Population. If you do not agree to them, do not use this site.

Santa Clara County Inmate Population is privately owned and is not affiliated with Santa Clara County, the Office of the Sheriff, any jail, CDCR, BOP, ICE, any court, or any government agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide consumer reports, private-investigation services, background checks, or services for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other FCRA-covered screening.

Nature of the Site

This site is a private reference guide. It does not hold official records and cannot verify custody status, release anyone from jail, schedule a hearing, or file a public-records request for you.

The pages point visitors toward Santa Clara County jail, court, state-prison, federal, and immigration custody resources, including third-party research tools where those tools are displayed.

  • Do not use the site in a way that violates any law.
  • Do not use information from the site to stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
  • Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, licensing, or benefit decisions.
  • Do not attempt to access nonpublic systems or interfere with site security.
  • Do not use automated bots, scrapers, or bulk extraction tools.
  • Do not disrupt site availability for other visitors.

No Consumer Reporting Use

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening products, and its partners are not offered here for those purposes. You agree not to use anything from this site for:

  • Employment hiring, firing, promotion, or discipline decisions.
  • Tenant screening or other housing eligibility decisions.
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing decisions.
  • Licensing, permit, or government-program eligibility decisions.
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Links

The site links to jail rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, California Public Records Act resources under Government Code section 7920.000 et seq., court portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. We do not control those sites, endorse every item on them, or guarantee their content, privacy practices, prices, or uptime.

No Warranties

The site is provided as is. We do not warrant or promise:

  • That every item is accurate, complete, or current.
  • That the site will be uninterrupted.
  • That the site will be free of errors, bugs, or security issues.
  • That a partner search will find every possible record.

Custody status, booking details, court dates, public-record access, and CPRA responses can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from the Santa Clara County Sheriff, a court, CDCR, BOP, ICE, or any government office.
