Santa Clara Mugshot Law
California does not require Santa Clara County to run a public mugshot gallery. Request Santa Clara Booking Photos
Requesting a booking photo is different from searching a jail roster. The Sheriff CPRA page says requests may be anonymous and that the agency may take up to 10 days to respond. The request form asks for requester contact information, preferred contact method, and a description of the requested documents. California law still allows redaction or withholding when an exemption applies.
How Long Mugshots Stay

State and Federal Photo Limits
Santa Clara County jail mugshots are county booking records. They are not CDCR prison photos, BOP inmate photos, ICE locator photos, or U.S. Marshals records.
